Last night we played in Oslo. I (aaron) got to meet some distant relatives....we link up 6 generations ago so its pretty distant, but it was nice meeting some extended family, especially because they were super nice and interesting folks. One of my older distant relatives who understandably prefers New Orleans jazz to our kind of music was still nice enough to come to the show, so we played Performance Evaluation Shuffle cause that's the closest we got.
Its a good time of year to be in Norway, tall slender trees, at different stages in their green to orange transition, tightly packed across long rolling landscapes and up to the very edge of the shore small steep hill islands. Saw some incredibly bright red ivy, and also some Christmas palm trees....very tall trunks with nothing on them until the very top where there's a small evergreen Christmas tree. If Corona advertises in Norway they should have some dude drinking in a hammock between two of those trees. Which reminds me of limes. At the Oslo show all three of us nailed our heads on the overhead hanging PA speakers, so the promoter ducktaped limes hanging from the speaker so we'd see them. And then I still hit my head again another time in spite of the limes.

we played our first show tonight in malmo, sweden
the swedes were eating that shit up like it was buried sour rancid fish
they were flailing all over the fucking place
actually they were quite reserved, but very kind and receptive
we rawked the reservedness right the fuck out of this one kid, who actually started dancing a little bit
no richard prior 80s movie credit roll street dancing scene, but a fine start
rumor has it soon there will be comment functionality up on this blog section
so you can say lots of really nice things about how good our music is and how entertaining our blog posts are

new website is up, hurray
thanks to Roslyn Carnes for design & Peter Snyder for coding this thing
we're gonna try to keep you posted on how the upcoming european tour is going here in this blog
if you have specific topics you'd like us to cover, like if we're eating well, the price of gas in different cities, or how they say love in each of the languages of the countries we visit, by all means let us know. we plan on gaining the kind of in-depth knowledge of each of these destinatoins that only a touring band can acheive, and then drawing broad poetic conclusions about each city. like if we were playing barcelona we could do a post called barcelona is for lovers.
