We're excited to debut our new music video for our single Piñata (premiered today on SPIN.com and viewable here on YouTube) from the forthcoming album also of the same name. The video features us blindfoldedly stumbling through the woods and converging upon a beastly piñata. The ensuing death ritual is more surgical than your typical piñata execution, and the interior prizes include more than candy. We hope you enjoy the poultry center of this tale of revenge and summer picnicking. Piñata the album is out June 12th on The Leaf Label.

But before the album release, we'll be openly leaking all our new songs through a promotional tactic designed to sustain your attention from now through our June 12th release, and build your interest in purchasing our CD and vinyl merchandise! Therefore, on Thursday May 3rd, we begin our "Seed To Flower Thursdays with volcano!" web series. In the tradition of Kanye's GOOD Fridays, and Nicki Minaj's PINK Fridays, every "Seed to Flower Thursday", we'll debut one new song (the flower), and explore the events in our lives that inspired the song (the seed). The series is not unlike VH1 StoryTellers, except that instead of narcissistic monologues, we provide you with highly produced dramatic re-enactments of the moments in time that inspired our songs. At the end of each re-enactment, the flower will bloom — a free, streaming song for your enjoyment. Subscribe to our YouTube channel or like our Facebook page to be alerted when each new volcano! track blooms, and to witness the sometimes gruesome sometimes mundane origin stories of our music.

Hello Everybody.

We've got a new single, Piñata, the title track from our upcoming album, available to stream at The 405 /MTV Hive right now! It combines heavy drums, dance-y synthesizers, and scratchy guitars with lyrical content concerned with spider/bee/candy-filled-piñatas. For a free download, visit our Bandcamp page. Stay tuned for the accompanying video that brings to vivid reality the afore-mentioned imagery. Enjoy!
